The bar chart illustrates how often Americans came to fast food eateries from 2003 to 2013.

Overall, most Americans spent once a week having meals at fast-food restaurants in two separate years (2003 and 2006) and once or twice a month in 2013. However, people coming to restaurants daily just accounted for a little percent over the period given.

As we can see, in 200 and 2006, around a third of the population in the USA had meals at fast-food establishments once a week while in 2013, this figure declined slightly to under 30%. Fast-food eaters once or twice a month stood at 30% in 2003, followed by a decrease of 10% 3 years later and then jumped to nearly 35%, which was as high as those eating once a week.

There was a fluctuation in the number of people eating fast-food several times a week between over 15% and 20%, which was moderately higher than those eating a few times a year. However, around 3% to 5% was the number of Americans eating fast-food daily and have never tried it before.
