The bar chart showed the percentage of school children learning to play four different musical instruments (violin, guitar, piano, drums) in 3 years 2005, 2010, 2015.

The bar chart illustrates the percentage of young students who played four different musical instruments including violin, guitar, piano and drums in 2005, 2010 and 2015.
In general, it is apparent that guitar was the most popular at school while drum and violin were the least preferred instruments. Additionally, the figures for guitar and piano also exhibited an upward trend throughout the studied period.
In particular, school children always favored guitar learning over the other instruments. In 2005, the percentage of students who studied the guitar was 11%, which increased by twofold 5 years later and reached a peak at about 27% in 2015. There were also many pianists, with nearly the same number of children favoring it in 2005. The gap widened between guitar and piano fromroughly 1% in 2005 to about 3% in 2010 and finally at around 2% in the final year.
Contrastingly, drum and violin remained at relatively same levels throughout the mentioned years. While drum was at the bottom in 2005 and 2010 with only 6% of the participants, there were also not many violinists, at about 7.5%. However, the ranks reversed in 2015 with drum topping violin by a mere 0.5% difference.
