Overall, the amount of imports in Canada was more than that of exports. Also it is interesting to note that, the amount of import and export increased over the period however the exports showed the faster incremental rates than that of imports.
Looking in details for both imports and exports, the highest imports and exports were in 1995; $12000 and $8000 respectively. This is followed by 1994's figure where imports had $11900 and exports of about $7500.
The figures of imports and exports were low in other years; from 1991 to 1993. During those periods, imports increased constantly from $8000 in 1991 to $9900 in 1993. Meanwhile, exports grew in its amount remarkably from $4000 in 1991 and $6000 in 1993.
