The bar chart shows the number of girls per 100 boys enrolled in different levels of school education.
The bar graph depicts information about the primary, secondary and territory education level of girls relation to boys in developed and developing countries in 1990 and 1998.
Overall, the emerging fact from the graph is that boys who enrolled in school were more than girls both in 1990 and 1998 in all nations, except territory education in developed nations, although the figures were lower in developing nations.
Turning to the detail, there was more number of boys than girls in primary and secondary education. Even though the proportion of female signup rose, there were still 90 women for every 100 men, in poorer regions, while in richer regions there was little difference in genders. Similarly, in high school, the ratio of feminine to men registered was almost 100:100 in both years and developing countries, it increased from about 70:100 to over 80:100.
Marching forward, territory education, the biggest discrepancy can be seen. While in developed nations more females than males were registered, in developing regions under 80 girls for every 100 boys in 1998, despite an increase.
