The bar chart shows the number of times per week (in 1000s), over five weeks, that three computer packages were downloaded from the internet.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The chart shows figures for the number of thousands of times that computer packages downloaded from the internet over a period of five weeks. It seems that overall these downloads increased substantially.

However, downloads of each package have shown a different trend. Firstly, Net appears to have a gradual decrease in the number of packages downloaded over the first two weeks from 35.000 to 15.000, followed by a raise to 50.000 downloads. In contrast, Java presented a relatively constant increase of the initial number of 45.000 downloads over the period, topping more than 8 thousand in the 5th week. Recorded downloads of ActiveX also increased significantly. Although there was a 15.000 download reduction during the fourth week, the number of downloads shot up from 70.000 and topped over 120 thousand on the 5th week.

Demand for both Act and Java appears remarkable increase during the period. In contrast, the number of downloads of Net package per week was unsteady and has had the lower increase. In any case, the number of downloads of Act exceeded that of Java, which was higher than that of Net, per week.
