The bar chart shows the percentage of food and goods purchased in supermarket

The bar chart indicates how much food and goods purchased in a supermarket in three nations in Europe over a ten-year period, beginning in1998. The data is calibrated in percentage.

Overall, It can clearly be seen that the proportion of food and good which were bought from supermarket grew in all countries. Further, purchases of food and goods uplifted by the greatest margin in country 1 over the period shown.

Looking at the data sets for food in more detail, It is evident that food purchases in country 1 stood at 10% in 1998. This figure climbed rapidly to 4% in 2008, which was the biggest difference on this chart. Similarly, purchases of food in country 2 and country 3 stood at approximately 20%and roughly 5% respectively in 1998, and 30% and 10% respectively in 2008.

Turning to the second chart, It is readily apparent that almost 3% of goods were purchased in country 3 in1998. This value increased marginally to around 10% in 2008, which was the lowest difference between these these two years on this chart. The percentage of goods which were purchased in country 2 in 1998 stood at 40% in1998, as opposed to about 50% in 2008. Finally, goods purchases grew substantially from considerably below than 20% at the beginning of the period in country 1 to 60% at the end of the period, which was the highest percentage on the chart.
