The bar chart illustrates the proportion of non-qualification British in 2009 categorized by sex and age. Overall, the majority of the elder from 50-59/64 years old did not have qualifications while the least with no qualifications is the age 17 to 19.
For example, the overwhelming group is 50-59/64 with the highest percentage for women is exactly 20% and around 17% for the counterpart in the UK. The second highest group without qualifications is 40 to 49 years old, which is approximately 11% for females and 10% for males. The two abovementioned groups have the same pattern with a higher number of women than men who did not need qualifications.
Meanwhile, for 17-19 and 20-24, which are the two youngest groups, the pattern appears to be reversed. Most men from 17 to 24 years old English have a slightly higher proportion than women regarding qualifications. The figures were around 7% for males and 6% for females from 17 to 19 and it was 8% of male and 7% of female for the latter. Finally, the percentages remained the same 8% for both sexes who age varying from 25-29 and 30-39 living in England in 2009.
