Overall, it can be oberserved that the share proportion of rural area poverty is high by 76% when compared to urban share of poverty at 24%.
Turing to the bar graph of the rural share of poverty in 1993 ,all the continents have the percentage more than 50% .It is noticed that the East Asia and Pacific has the same proportion of poverty in 1993 and 2002 respectively at 95%.It is noticed that Europe and Central Asia has more poverty in rural area in the year 2002 at 65%.The South Asia has just slight difference of 2% of poverty in the years 1993 and 2002.
In contrast to it, looking at the same bar graph of the rural share of poverty in the year 2002, most of the continents except Europe , Central Asia,East Asia and Pacific have less percentage of poverty in 2002 when compared to the year 1993. 40% is the least percentage of poverty in rural area of Latin America and Caribbean.
