(Cam 12 test 1): The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.
The bar chart gives information about the proportion of females and males who took part in frequent physical activity in different ages in Australia in 2010.
In general, it can be seen that women who are 45 to 54 and 15-24-years-old men accounted for the highest number in the period. The number of females in nearly all ages exercised more than males.
At 15-24 years old, over 5.0% male participants did physical activity more than female participants. The percentage of 25-34-year-old men enjoying exercising had a slight decrease while women started taking part in more than men, at 42.2% and 48.9% respectively. Males made up 13% of doing physical activity less than women.
Females who are from 45 to 64 years old, had the highest figure of doing exercises from 53% 53.3%, the figures for men in the same age groups were much lower. Finally, both over 65-year-old women and men had the same proportion of taking part in physical activity, at nearly 47%.
