As an overall trend, most countries have the same trend, which the figure for marriage in 1981 was higher than in 1994, excepting Denmark. The rate of divorce in five countries diminished over the period
In general, American people tend to marry at the highest number nearly 10,000 people in 1981 and 9,000 people in 1994. The same situation can be seen in other six countries, namely UK, Japan, Finland, Germany, France and Italy. There is the different pattern in Denmark, which the figure for marriage increased from 5,000 people to approximately 6,000 people during thirteen-year period.
