The chart illustrates how many percents of British people by age range give money to charity between 1990 and 2010.
In the first glance, it was noticeable that in 1990, the highest percentage group people who donate money to charity was 36-50, which was over 40%. The youngster in the age of 18-25 had the least percentage, which was only approximately 17%. However, the age range from 26-50 and those who were over 65 had almost the same percentage.
As the chart demonstrates, in 2010, people who were aged 51-65 had given more money to charity, which increased by 4%. Donation from the group age of 36-50 had decreased, while people who were over 65 had increased, and met the same percentage. Not to mention, young people not only remained the least, still had dipped to only 6%.
To sum up, it was evident that old ages were willing to donate than those young ones.
