Given is a bar chart comparing the rates of money donation given by different ages of British community members to a charity in 1990 and 2010.
A brief analysis of the graph reveals that in 1990 people under the age of 50 contributed more money than that age in 2010. The pattern was converse for people over 50 comparing 1990 and 2010.
In 1990, nearly 40% of British people who belonged to the third age group (36-50) donated money to charity, where the contribution of them in 2010 saw a slight reduction to around 35%. 51-65 years old people listed in the second place of the year 1990, donating the same percentages of 36-50 years-old in 2010. However, there was a gradual rise to just under 40% of those donors in 2010.
Approximately 31% over the age of 65 and 30% from 26-35 years-old people contributed money in 1990 although the rates for the former climbed to 35% and for the latter dropped to slightly less than one-quarter in 2010. Moreover, around 15% of 18-25 years-old youngsters were responsible for donations in 1990. Nonetheless, the percentage of them plunged considerably to a mere 7% in 2010.
