The bar graph illustrates information how many British people donating money to charity by age range for the years 1990 and 2010 in percentage form.
There was a steady increase in number for ages 18-25 up to 36-50 in year 1990. Approximately 17% from 18-25 years of age donated to charity then increased to more than 40% for age 36-50. Moreover, same trend happened in 2010 but this time the increasing trend was up to 51-65 years old. A merely 5% came from 18-25 years old which is the lowest recorded percentage in 2010. The number increased to 40% thus making it the highest percentage in 2010 and it was under 51-65 years old.
On the other hand, a noticeable gradual decrease in percentage in 1990 from 51 years old up to 65 and above. In addition, the trend happened the same for the age 65 and above in year 2010.
In conclusion, the younger the age the lesser interest in donating money to charity and it shows that as the age gets older it also decreases the interest in participation in charity work.
