The chart below illustrate how often people in the United State visited fast food restaurants from 2003 to 2013. It can be clearly seen from the chart that the percentage of people who ate in fast food restaurants once a week and once or twice a month is the largest in this period of time.

According to the chart, the proportion of USA resident who came to fast food restaurant weekly basis stood at just over 30 percent in 2003 then increased slightly in 2006 before dropped to approximately 27 percent. In addition, the percentage of fast food restaurant customer visited one or two time per month declined sharply from one third to a quarter between 2003 and 2006 before rose sharply to above 30 percent in 2013.

By contrast, the proportion of people who never ate and ate every day in fast food restaurants decreased during this period of time and always under 5 percent. Meanwhile, from 2003 to 2013 saw an significant rise in the percentage of customer ate few time a year from about 13 percent to 15 percent. Finally, the percentage fast food restaurants visitor ate several times per week went up from above of 15 percent to 20% between 2003 and 2006 before falling to 15 percent again 7 years later.
