The chart below shows the amount of time that 10 to 15 year olds spending chatting on the Internet and playing on games consoles on an average school day in the UK

The bar chart draws a comparison of the amount of time spent on online conversation and creations by teenagers in the UK.
Looking at the graph, it clearly seen that the boys allocated much more time for playing console games than the girls while the number of hours spent on chatting on the Internet by females was higher than the others.
Around 4% of boys in a school spent 4 hours on engaging online conversation which was three times lower than that of spending on their creations while the amount of time allocated 4 hours and at least one hour on chatting on the internet by males accounted for nearly 24% and 25% respectively, compared to 43% and 30% of boys who spent their time on playing console games.
The percentage of female teenagers who allocated from 1 to 3 hour for engaging conservation on the internet made up roughly 35% which was over twice higher than that of spending on their creations while there was four times as much the proportion of girls spent four hours on online conservation as their creations. The figure for allocating at least one hour on playing games by females was higher than their online conservation, at 38% and 25% respectively.
