Overall, most people in USA chose eating at fast food eateries once a week in 2003 and 2006; and they went to fast food restaurants once or twice a month in 2013. Additionally, the number of people choosing to eat fast food for daily meals accounted for the lowest percentages in all three years.
In 2003 and 2006, more than one third of American ate at fast food eateries once a week, but on 2013, the number decreased to about 27%. The rate of people in USA consuming fast food at restaurants once or twice a month went down 5% in the first three years, and soaring to around 33% in 2013.
The percentages of people who chose fast food for their meal as several times a week fluctuated around 16% to 20%, and these figures were slightly higher than these figures of people ate fast food a few time a year. The proportion of daily eaters and those who had never eat fast food accounted for a very small percentages in all three years with about 5%.
