The bar chart illustrates the percentage change in average house price in five different cities which are located in five different countries from 1990 to 2002 compared with average house price in 1989.

Overall, information is divided into two periods. In the first period the houses price decreased in most of the cities whereas in the next period only Tokyo (Japan) houses prices was remains decreased.

According to the bar chart, during the period from 1990 to 1995 the percentage of average houses prices decreased in three cities. The average houses price in New York (USA) was 5 percent and about 7.5% in both Tokyo (Japan) and London (UK). While the average houses price slightly increased in two cites Madrid (Spain) and Frankfurt (Germany) was nearly 1.5 and 2 percent respectively.

On the other hand, the next period from 1996 to 2002 the average house price decreased only in Tokyo (Japan) was 5 percent. In contrast, the average houses price increases in the rest of cities. In New York houses price increased to 5 percent, in Madrid (Spain) was slightly increased was about 4% and in Frankfurt (Germany) was nearly 2% respectively. In London (UK) the house price increased dramatically over the six years period which was above 10 percent from 1996 to 2002 and it was the highest pieces among all cities.
