the chart illustrates how many males and females educated in the future in Britain in three different years and being studied full-time or part-time
overall, there was a minimal downward trend in the number of males studying part-time while the figure for females increased significantly. The number of both genders who engaged in full-time education climbed
in 1970, about 1000 thousand men were found in part-time education compared to nearly 800 thousand women. From 1970 to 1990 the US witnessed a slight decrease of around 50 thousand people in the number of males being studied part-time in 1990. By contrast, the number of women in this education rose substantially to just under 1200 thousand people and this figure took over that of men
in terms of full-time eduction, in 1970 approximately 100 thousand men in Britain being studied full-time, which was about twice as much as that of women. However, in 1970, the figure for females excessed that of males, at roughly 200 thousand people. By 19990, the number of men and women being studied full-time have grown to over 200 and well-over 210 thousand people.
