The bar graphs illustrate the proportion of full-time and part-time education of males and females in three different times 1970-71,1980-81,1990-91 in Britain.
Overall, it can be observed that the number of men studying part-time has increased over the years whereas women studying in both full-time and half-time has increased.
Firstly, it has been observed that there are more males studying full-time in 1990 with around 1000 people where in part-time it was only 100. In contrast, the figures for full-time education declined to almost 820 and there has been a slight growth in part-time education by 50 which it saw a steady increase to 820 and 200 in 1990-91 in full-time and part-time education.
On the other hand, there are very few numbers of females pursuing education in 1970 when compared to males which stood at 700 and around 20 in full-time and part-time but as time passes these figures started increased significantly every year. Subsequently, next year numbers increased by 100 and 150 compared to the past year and marked highest at the end of the period which is at 1100 and 200 in the year 1990.
