The chart represents the proportion of international graduates in eight different Canadian universities from 2001 to 2006.
Overall, the proportion of international graduates increased. The highest international graduates were New Brunswick and Nova Scotia in both periods. It is interesting to note that, the international students graduated from British Columbia were raised the most in its proportion.
Looking in details, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Quebec universities had the most international students graduated percentages of over 5%. In particular, New Brunswick had the highest percentage of international graduates in 2001 of about 8%, followed by Nova Scotia of around 7% and Quebec had the 3rd highest international graduates of 6%. Meanwhile, the rest of universities recorded at below 5% of international graduates in 2001.
By 2006, the percentage of international graduates from New Brunswick and Nova Scotia remained at the top scores of approximately 13% and 11% respectively. The third position was dedicated to British Columbia which proportion for international graduates was around 4% in 2001 and increased substantially to over 10% by 2006. In opposed to the British Columbia universities, Quebec Universities did not have much international graduates in 2006 of below 10%. The rest of universities recorded at above 5% in 2006.
