The bar chart compares the proportion of men and women teachers in six different categories of educational setting in the UK in 2010. From the general perspective, it could be observed that nursery/pre-school and elementary school were popular among female teachers, while the university was the best choice among male teachers.

It is evident from the information provided that nursery/pre-school had the highest percentage of women teachers at over 95% and there also was a large gap between men and women, in which women teachers' percentage exceeded men teachers' percentage by roughly 90%. Similarly, the number of female teachers in primary school was more than male teachers, at over 90% compared with under 10%.

On the other hand, the majority of men teachers chose to teach at the university at 70%, in which men teachers' percentage exceeded women teachers' percentage by 40%. In addition, the percentage of female teachers was bigger than male teachers by about 10%, in contrast, men teachers' percentage in the private training institute exceed female teachers' percentage by 10%. Especially, the percentage of male and female teachers in college was the same at 50%.
