The given bar chart illustrates how people in five Australian cities buy and consume coffee and tea.
Overall, it is clear that most of the people who went to café for coffee or tea in the last 4 weeks were the highest percentage in all five Australian cities except for Adelaide. Meanwhile, there was the lowest proportion of citizens bought fresh coffee in last 4 week.
The number of residents drinking tea or coffee at a café was 60% in Sydney, while citizens of Melbourne was slightly higher, at around 63%. Meanwhile, above 45% of residents bought instant coffee, and above 40% of citizens bought fresh coffee in two cities.
Looking at the other cities, having tea or coffee at a café was accounted for 55% and 50% in Brisbane and Adelaide respectively, while the figure for people taking coffee or tea at a café was only 63% in Hobart. At the same time, people who bought instant coffee in three cities were all above 50%, except Adelaide, only 50%. Finally, the percentage of people buying fresh coffee in Brisbane and Adelaide, at around 34%, while Hobart’s figure was higher, at roughly 38%.
