The chart below shows the results of a survey about people's coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.
Overall, it is clear that going to a cafe for coffee or tea accounted for the highest proportion in Australia which means that this is the most common ways that people choose to buy and drink coffee or tea. In addition, buying fresh coffee occupied the lowest percentage in five cities that this was the unwelcome pathway to choose in Australia.
Looking more closely at the bar chart,we can see that going to a cafe for coffee or tea in last 4 weeks was the main habit for Australian, especially in Melbourne, accounting for 63% that was the highest percentage in this five cities.Hobart ranked the second position(62%) and the Sydney followed closely (61%). Moreover, choose to a cafe for coffee or tea was the most choice in Brisbane, occupying in 56%. However, in Adelaide was in an opposite situation that buying instant coffee accounted for nearly 50% which was the biggest proportion than go to a cafe for coffee or tea(49%).
Buying instant coffee was the second choice in the five cities expect Adelaide. 54% of city residents in Hobart choose this way in coffee and tea purchasing and tasting that accounted the highest proportion in Australia, and the Brisbane with 53% in secondary. Furthermore, the Melbourne and Sydney also separate possession 48% and 43%.
The percentage of city residents choose to buy fresh coffee was the lowest in five Australian cities. Sydney was the highest proportion over the other city which accounted for 44%. The second highest city was Melbourne (42%) and, followed by Hobart(37%). Besides, the Brisbane and Adelaide occupied the same percentage, which accounted for 34%.
