The chart below shows the total number of minutes (in billions) of telephone calls in the UK, divided into three categories, from 1995-2002

The bar chart gives information about the total amount of minutes that people in the UK spend on telephone calls categorized into three types, between 1995-2002.
It is clearly seen that the local fixed line holds the highest time-using position over the period. Meanwhile, the mobile call has the lowest number of time used.
The figure for the local calls shows a fluctuation over 7 year period. In 1995, it was about 71 billion minutes and rose steadily to 90 billion in 1999, and then decreased significantly to more than 71 billion in 2002. However, it is true that the local- fixed line was the most phone call made among other lines.
In contrast, the quantity of national and international calls in the UK rise gradually from about 35 billion in 1995 to about 60 billion in 2002, approximately two times higher than in 1995. The mobile call has the same trend, it grew from just about 1 billion minutes in the first year to more than 40 billion in 2002.
