The bar chat provides information about the duration of phone calls per annum (in billion minutes), categorized as local, national/international and mobile over a period of 7 years, between 1995 and 2002 in the United Kingdom.
According to the bar chart, minutes of mobile calls are the lowest of all categories, from 1995 to 2002 but their growth in 7 years is the highest i.e. from a few billions they have expanded to approximately 45 billion minutes. While national and international calls have made a moderate length during the whole time-period, with rise of more than 20 billion minutes by the end (2002).
However, local fixed line minutes are the same in 1995 and 2002, which does not mean they were constant during these 7 years, instead there was a noticeable increase of nearly 20 billion minutes in first four years (1995-1999), then they underwent a considerable downfall over next three years (1999-2002).
Overall, the total no. of minutes of mobile and national/international calls have grown over seven years where as those of local calls have experienced a mixed trend, at first, they increased and then towards the end they decreased up-to the earliest level.
