The bar chart illustrates the total amount of Olympic awards won by twelve specific nations by three categories: gold, silver and bronze.
It is clear that the United States has the highest total medals won in the occasion, which is more than 2,250 wins, more than twice as much as Russia (around 1,000 medals won in total). In contrast, Japan has the least total awards won in the list, which is only approximate 400 medals.
Looking at the chart in more detail, the Americans won the most medals in all posistion, 900 in gold, 750 in silver and 700 in bronze, these figures are higher twice as much as all other eleven countries in the competition. On the other hand, Japan and Australia both have the fewest golden awards in the league, which only about 25 medals. Additionally, Japan also have the lowest silver medals and the smallest amount of bronze wins is China.
