The pie chart illustrates the destination of Anthropology graduates (from one university) upon their graduation while the table gives information about the remuneration of these graduates after 5 years’ work.
Overall, it is apparent that more than half of the graduates chose the full-time work after finishing their undergraduate degree course. Additionally, the percentage of those who were employed in government sectors was higher regarding the highest salaries than those working in other sectors.
The full-time work was opted by 52% of anthropology graduates, which was the highest proportion among all the preferences. The figure for those who did part-time job or were unemployed comprised slightly more than one tenth, at 15% and 12% respectively. The same percentage of graduates contributed to full time study and an unknown source, at 8%. Ultimately, only insignificant proportion of students continued both to study and work(part-time) simultaneously.
Regarding the salaries, 5% and 15% of freelance consultants and government sector employees received $25000-49999 and %50000-74999 respectively, whereas the percentages of those employed in private companies were almost double, at 10% and 35% respectively. The group of workers with earnings ranging $75000 -99999 consisted of 40% f freelance consultants, 30% of government sector workers and the quarter of private companies’ employees. The percentages of all of these working having wages above $100000 ranged between 30% and 40%.
