The chart below shows what Anthropology graduates from one university did after finishing their undergraduate degree course. The table shows the salaries of the anthropologists in work after five years.
The pie chart represents the information about what was done by Anthropology students after graduating from the university and the table provides the data about the wages of anthropologists after 5 years of experience.
Overall, It is clear that the majority of the graduates started working full-time after the completion of the degree course and after getting work experience of 5 years most of the anthropologists are earning well in the government sector and freelancing services.
It is conspicuous from the illustration is that over half of the undergraduates chose to work full-time after graduation. In addition to this, 15% of the graduates selected to work part-time and 12% of the students were unemployed. Interestingly, among the degree holders, only 5% of the graduates started postgrad study along with the part-time job. The students who embarked studying the full-time postgrad course and unknown were similar with 8%.
The government sector is the only type of employment that had the 50% of anthropologist's salaries over $100,00 after 5 years of experience among other types of employment. However, the Government sectors and freelance consultants provided the same wages except for the proportion of people getting salaries in the range of $75000 to 100000+. The private sector provided the least salaries among other sectors, only 30% of the anthropologies are able to obtain salary over 10000. Conversely, the people who are getting salary in between $50000 to $74999 is higher(35%) in private sectors.
