over a decade from 2003 to 2013

In overall, it is clear that most American ate junk food moderately while the number of American never ate fast food or ate on the daily basis remained low.

In comparison between two year 2003 and 2006, it is similar in pattern occurred as 31% and 33% of people in the US consumed fast food once a week as the highest figure in both years. Coming in the close second, the lower percent of 1% or 8% were the ratio of those for once or two times a month. Meanwhile, the lowest figure belongs to those who never use fast food and eat everyday for 4% and 3% respectively.

It is an adverse pattern in the year 2013 that a significant number of American change their eating fast food habit from weekly basis to once a month, making the monthly rate peaked at 33 percent in compared with 28 percent of weekly rate. Similarly, there is no change in the percentage of those who never and everyday eating habit in 2013.
