In general, what stands out from the graph is that there was an increase in the imported figure for all three nations examined, while exported data witnessed a growth in China and the USA, and a decrease in India. In addition, India generally held the highest data of imported Australian dollars until it was surpassed by China in the year 2009. Meanwhile, the USA consistently reached the lowest exported figures.
To be more specific, the imported number of China started at 20 billion Australian dollars, after which it experienced a gradual growth to about 27 billion dollars in 2008, before hitting a highest point at 35 billion dollars. Similar changes, but to a smaller extent, were seen in the imported figure for India , which increased from exactly 25 billion dollars to north of 30 billion. Meanwhile, the number of imports for America was 20 billion in 2004, followed by a leveling off to nearly 20 billion in the last year.
In detail, the exported Australian dollars number was 15 billion in 2004, with a subsequent increase to shy of 25 billion in 2009. The figure for Australia’s dollar export in India rose from roughly 18 billion at the beginning of the period and ending at nearly 17 billion. The figure for America fluctuated around 10 billion during the examined period.
