The pie charts illustrate the statistic about land use by purpose in four countries namely Portugal, New Zealand, Canada and Norway.
Overall, it is clear that most land of these countries is non-agriculture. Also, except to New Zealand, the arable land of others is large than the pasture land.
Looking at the pie charts more closely, one can see that the land us by non-agriculture accounts for over 90% in Canada and Norway. At just under 60%, Portugal’s share non-agricultural land is also quite high. In contrast, New Zealand’s land use by this purpose is nearly equal to the pasture purpose, is at 51%. Meanwhile, the land use by arable purpose is just under 10% in each three countries namely Portugal, Canada and Norway, with the rate of Canada is just 2% and Norway is 1%. While Portugal use 34% of total land for arable purpose, the other countries are just equal to or less than five percent.
