Overall, it is clear that education, scientists and investment on research was quite higher in industrialized countries in both of the years.
According to the first graph, people were more enthusiastic towards literacy in developed nations, where the average person had 8.2 years of schooling in 1980, and grew to around 11 years in a decade. In comparison, the undeveloped nations pupils used to attain school for 2.2 years in 1980, and in 1990, it rose slightly to 3.9.
Similarly, fourth-tenth of the people were either scientist or technicians in industrialized nations in the year 1980, whereas in under-developed countries, the ratio was 1/100. In 1990, the professionals in these domains escalated significantly to 70 out of 1000 people in economically strong countries, as compared to developing nations, where their percentage was only 19.
Finally, the expenditure on research and development in developed and developing countries were 150 and 50 billion dollars respectively in 1980. However, 10 years later, the former funding soared dramatically around 350 billion, while the later declined to approximately 10 billion.
