The designed graphs illustrate the number of Japanese tourists traveling aboard and sharing data of Japan's traveler market in Australia from 1985 to 1995.
Overall, it is clear that the numbers of traveling aboard steadily increased, whereas the percentage of Japanese tourists that select Australia their destination had a considerable fluctuation tendency from year to year.

The Japanese tourists were increased slightly from 4.2 in 1985 to 8.1 in 1988, which showed double the number. Meanwhile, people traveled to Australia rising from 2% to 4.8% over the same period. The figure given for the Australian market between 1988 and 1989 had a gradually fallen by 4.8 to 4.2, respectively, while Japanese tourists trend had approximately 700 thousand grew.

In 1991, however, people were thus less likely to travel aboard, compared to 1990, but there was an upward trend in Australia tourist market about 5.1%. The amount of Japan citizens traveled to foreign countries reached 15 million at the end of 1992 to 1995 period. In addition, Australia can draw the attention of Japanese and peaked at more than 6 percent, but after that, it had decreased to 6%. In fact, there was no information about Australian market in 1995.
