The pie charts give information about the proportion of purposes for water usage in six areas of the earth. While the most of the water used for the agricultural purpose in 4 of 6 continents, the domestic water consumption accounted for a smaller amount of water.
According to pie charts, the percentages of water utilized for farming intention are nearly each other 81-88% in SE Asia, Central Asia, and Africa, which is more than over 10% used in South America but in Europe and North America, two times less water is consumed for such purpose. For those two countries, domestic use accounted for 13-15% of water. While this is up to 9% of the total in Central and SE Asia, and Africa regions, in South America it is a bit more 19%.
For the industrial reason, the continents using the most water are North America and Europe, which is 48-53%. Industrial use accounted for approximately 11% in South America and SE Asia but it is 7-5% in rest of the areas.
In conclusion, as a pie chart showing water utilization for various purposes tells, the most of the water is drained for agricultural intention.
