However, the proportion of people travelling for shopping and personal reasons accounted for 35% combined.
As far as the pie chart is concerned, the largest proportion of people concerned about travelling was the travel budget, which was six times more than that of those caring about space for pedestrians. In addition, the second larger proportion of people’s primary concern was safety, with its percentage standing at 19%. There were 17 % and 14% of people concerned about the issues of aggressive drivers and highway congestion respectively. However, only 8 % of the U.S. residents thought that access to public transport should be prioritized.
