The presented pie charts picturizes the reasons behind a person traveling to work by a bicycle or by a car. A glance at reasons for cycling to work reveals it being environmentally friendly and healthier. While the other graph shows driving to work as a most comfortable one.
Among the people cycling to work, 30% of them thinks it is a healthier and fitter option. A similar amount of people think that cycling causes less polution compared to a car. 40% of the population preferring driving to work finds it more comfortable. Just above the half of those population gives the distance between their workplace and home for a reason.
About 13% of the person in favor of cycling to work thinks that this eliminates parking problems and a similar amount of people says that it is cheaper to drive a bicycle. 14% among the ones in the favor of driving a car to work says it is faster than cycling and about the same proportion thinks of it as a safer option.
Overall, there are several reasons for a person to either drive or cycle to work. Each of the reason is unique on its own.
