The charts below show the results of a questionnaire that asked visitors to the Parkway Hotel how they rated the hotel’s customer service. The same questionnaire was given to 100 guests in the years 2005 and 2010.
The pie chart compares the proportion of visitors’ responses in rating customer service at the Parkway Hotel in 2005 and 2010
It’s obvious that there were considerable changes in rating service quality in the years 2005 and 2010. The percentage of positive responses as excellent and good substantially increased while a gradual fall in negative comments could be seen.
Looking at the positive responses first, the amount of customers’ evaluation as excellent was just 5% in 2005, this figure had a dramatic increase to 28% in 2010. Also, there was a significant rise in guests’ answers as good at 14% in 2005 to 39% in 2010.
With regard to negative feedback, an enormous decrease in responses as satisfactory was described from 45% in 2005 to 17% in 2010. Similarly, the number of guests who felt poor with the hotel’s quality fell from 21% in 2005 to 12% in 2010. Finally, a sharp plunge by 11% over the 5-year period in evaluating as very poor reflected the fact that more and more people gave positive comments to the survey.
