The charts below show what UK graduate and postgraduate students who did not go into full-time work did after leaving college in 2008.
The two different charts demonstrate some information about destination of UK graduates and postgraduate in 2008. Noting that students with full-time work were excluded in both groups results.
To bring the results in the light, four destinations were investigated for UK students in both bar charts which displays exactly the number of students in each group. As, you can see, the population of postgraduate students were exceptionally less than graduate students, respectively 1/10 times. Apart from this, further study was the most popular goal for both group which was experienced high number of students in 2008.
Also, it should be noted that, having part time work was the next priority of both groups based on the revealed results. I think that students who were worked part time after graduation was due to their aim for further study. The next point I would like to mention that is about the number of unemployed students who were enjoyed a dramatically decrease in post graduate students in comparison with graduates which acclaims that further study, the more job opportunities you may had in 2008. Along with this, voluntary work had a lowest share on the both groups.
