The graphs give information about how many hours workers do in idustrial sector per week in four nations of Europe in 2002. Overall, Denmark, France and The UK have the highest percentage of workers doing 36-40 hours each week and this figure in France is 31-35 hours, whereas 1-14 hours per week is the minor of the period of time that workers do.
In 2002, a minority of workers does 1-14 hours in all 4 European countries, accounts for approximately 10%. However, nearly 20% people work 15-20 hours in Sweden and this figure is not only twice greater than Denmark and the UK but also 5% higher than France. Denmark, France and the UK is have the same percentage of workers doing 21-30 hours a week, at nearly 10%, which is a half of the figure of Sweden, at 20%. While half of the workers in France do 31-35 hours a week, which is the higest percentage, these figures in Denmark, Sweden and the UK are much lower, at 25%, 40%, 10%, respectively.
However, 36-40 hours is the majority period of time that workers do per week in Denmark, Sweden and the UK, whereas this figure is just at the second place in France. The 41-over 50 hours in Denmark accounts for 10%, which is half of these in the UK. In France, 46-50 hours is the third percentage in the chart, accounts for 20%, which is twice greater than this figure in Sweden, at 10%. While the number of workers work over 50 hours per week has the same percentage in France and Sweden, the 41-45 hours in Sweden is tripple more than that in France, at 30% and 10%, respectively.
