Overall, the profit from petroleum products was the largest during the survey, while the lowest profit was from textiles. There was an increase in earnings from all categories except one (jewelry).
The most significant growth (15.24%) was demonstrated by textiles (from nearly $25 billion (25b) to over 30b), while the figure for agricultural products hardly changed (+0.81%).
The most essential share of export came from oil with roughly 60b in 2015 and an increase by 3% in 2016.
By 2016, the earnings from engineered goods had risen by 8.5% (which ranked second in terms of changes between two years). up to almost 60b, equalizing with oil import figures.
The profit from gems and jewelry declined noticeably by 5.18%, reaching the level just above 40b. In both 2915 and 2016 precious items were the third most lucrative import type after petrolium and devised goods.
