The given diagram describes the Hawaiian Island chain in the centre of the Pacific Ocean
In general, it is evident that the Hawaiian Island chain is composed from numerous complex components.
The Haiwaii Island chain is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean with eight major islands, which are called Niihau, Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai, Kahoolawe, Hawaii and Maui. The oldest volcano has the age of 80 million years. It is manifest from the diagram that the development and formation of the youngest volcano are affected by various eruptions.
It is clear that there are three layers under the Pacific Ocean. The first layer under the surface is the Pacific plate which displates 7-9cm per year. Under the Pacific Tectonic plate is the solid dense rock. The eruption process takes place at the deepest of the ocean which has the depth of 2883 kilometers from the sea surface and the “hot spot” spume is fixed in this layer. Another component is the magma spume which originates from the bottom of the ocean and runs along the volcanos.
