The flow chart illustrates the information about the manufacturing and recycling of glass containers.
In overall, it is vivid that each and every step is crucial. However, omission of any step will halt the whole process.
It can be seen from the information that to produce a glass in the first stage, sand, soda, ash, limestone and other chemicals are mixed. Secondly, the mixture is melted in glass furnace at approximately 1500c”. In the next step, the molten glass is shaped by blowing. Lastly, the glass containers are developed and ready to sell.
The chart further proves that in an initial step of glass recycling , the used glass collected. In the second step, these collected glass is sorted by colour. After this, the used glass is washed to remove impurities. In the following stage, the glass is crushed and melted. Eventually, the glass is moulded into new products.
