Overall, there are fifteen main stages in the process of producing tomato ketchup, beginning with harvesting tomato and ending with the delivery of the finished products
The first step is that tomatoes are hand-picked and put in baskets. Those fruit are sorted by bad and good tomatoes, before being loaded onto a lorry and transported to factory where it undergoes further processing. At this point, stalk, seeds and skin of tomatoes are completely removed and inner part are passed onto containers in order to crush until liquid tomato produced. Then, tomato juice is added some spices such as sugar, vinegar and salt.
At the eighth step of the process, this mixture is boiled in a pot and left about two hours to cool down. After being poured into bottles and labelled, those bottles are controlled to ensure their quality and put in to boxes. Finally, ketchup boxes are delivered to factory where they are displaced on shelves ready for being sold, tomato ketchup bottles are used with hamburgers and fries
