THE Map DETAILS changes in the layout of a community library from 20 years ago to today.
Overall, the Central Library has been modernized with the introduction of a number of new facilities to meet a variety of customer needs.
20 years ago, there were 2 round tables, each seating 8 people, in the middle of the library but today they have been thrown away. Previously when you walked across the street into the library, the inquiry desk where you could buy tickets and return books was right to your right; however, now a new cafe has been built in this area. The children's list in the upper right corner of the map has also been replaced with a new study room. While previously there was no gap between children's lists and Q&A that was reserved for non-fiction lists for adults, it is now used for books dedicated to fantasy for adults, information desk and a new server computer.
Looking to the left of the map, a new computer room was added next to the entrance, which required the removal of the old reading room where people could read newspapers and magazines. The section in the upper left corner of the map where CDs, videos, and computer games used to be has been expanded. There are currently 2 sofas, an area for children's fiction books and a space to host storytelling events in this area. Finally, the space between these two sections was previously reserved for adult fiction books but is now reserved for reference books.
