The diagram illustrates lifecycle a salmon fish in which an egg converts into a full grown salmon fish.
Overall, there are 8 stages in the whole process which are divided into two space areas - river and ocean. However, there is one particular area called estuary, it is in between the river and the ocean spacing, and merely one process takes place there.
River region contains 4 steps where initially the eggs are spawned by an adult salmon, and then the incubation process starts. After some time, the eggs start hatching and there are emergence of small fishes. As the fish grows up, it starts rearing into freshwater followed by moving to the estuary stage, where they swim to the ocean.
After entering into the ocean region which contains 3 total steps, fish starts migrating into rearing areas where they get mature fully and become adult. The fishes meet their appropriate partner for mating and finally migration process starts for spawning eggs. After swimming into the river region, the spawning process begins again and the cycle goes on continuously.
