The diagram below shows the life cycle of a species of large fish called the salmon.
The diagram illustrates the information about the life cycle of fish which has three main stages of their lifetime.
Considering the first stage, It represents salmon eggs store the upper river because of It has slow-moving water. So these eggs had been interposed small stones which were supplied protection for eggs also reeds trees gave their co-operation to safe eggs. After approximately 5 or 6 months these ovums converted to small fish which is called as a "fry". Fry has a plethora of appearences and significant length. it has been growing between 3cm and 8cm while they swan to the lower river and it has fast-flowing water relatively upper river. The fry spent only 4 years on the upper side while they grew up as a smolt. Smolt developed instead of fry and have a maximum of 15cm length. After their second life, They moved to open sea so smolt built up to adult salmon which has been maximum length was approximately 76cm. The majority of their life was spent in the open sea as a smolt. Finally, adult salmon went to the upper river to propagate their nation such as reproduction.
To sum up, The salmon has various lifetime and considering the above diagram the total lifetime of salmon will be approximately 10 years.
