The diagram below shows the process by which bricks are manufactured for the building industry.

This is a map which exhibits in detail the steps required to make bricks which are greatly implemented in construction projects.

As illustrated, there are seven consecutive stages in brick manufacturing procedure.

The first step is excavating the clayey soils to obtain the necessary raw material. Then, the soil particles are passed through metal grids and the passed material are conveyed using rollers to the mixing site. At this point, the soil will be placed in moulds. This stage can be done with two different methods. One of the methods include moulds which each produce just one brick, while in the other approach the mud passes through a mould that produces a strip of joint bricks which later by utilizing a wire cutter transforms to several individual bricks. After that the wet bricks will be put in an oven for 24-48 hours in order for them to get dried. Next, the primarily dried bricks will enter moderate and high temperature kilns which respectively expose 200 C - 980 C and 870 C - 1300 C heat to the dried bricks. This stage ends with bricks passing through a cooling chamber where they stay for 48-72 hours. After that the bricks will be packaged and finally, they will be delivered to customers by trucks.
