Overall, the process comprises various steps, starting with collecting the ripe fruit from the olive trees and ending with storing and trading the processed product.
At the beginning of the process, mature olives are picked by hand by the farmers, and then they are washed with cold water in a rinsing machine. After that, the olives are transported by a conveyor belt to a machine for smashing, at which point olive stones are removed to form a paste of the olives.
In the fourth stage, the olive paste is placed in perforated bags before being passed through the pressing machine. Subsequently, the products are divided into two different types of liquid, with the oil separated from the redundant water. In the end, the olive oil is packaged and stored carefully before being sold in the stores.
