The diagram illustrates the process of making traditional wooden shoes called clogs
The diagram shows the process used to create clogs. There are 6 main stages, which consist of cutting a piece of wood and shaping it and finishing it as a shoe.
To begin with a log of poplar is cut with a saw. After this operation, with the use of an axe outline the piece of wood in order to form a shoe figure. Then with the help of a knife define the shoe-shaped piece of wood.
Next, with a spoon drill the clogs are being bored out in order to fit your feet. Repeat these two stages of the process as many time as needed. Once your clogs are completed and you are satisfied with the product, use sandpaper to define and finishing the inside and the outside of the clogs.
Finally (this step is optional) you can decorate the shoes with the use of a brush and some paint. The clogs are now done and ready to use.
