The diagram shows how chocolate is produced. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The method of manufacturing is depicted in the process diagram. Overall, the process contains 10 stages which starts with harvesting, then the materials are dried and treated in factories to make chocolate.
When looking at the diagram, the process starts when the cacao pods turn red which is the signal showing that they are ripe. Once the pods are harvested, they will be peeled and the white cacao beans are taken out to be fermented, the beans are spread under the sunshine to dry. Before being transported to the factories by trains or lorries, dried cacao beans are put into large sacks and weighed.
Moving on to describe the remaining stages of the way chocolate is produced, once the beans have been transported to the factories, they go through three stages of treatment, beginning with being roasted at 350°C. Penultimately, roasted beans are crushed, simultaneously, their outer shells are separated from the inner parts and removed. Ultimately, the inner parts are pressed to manufacture liquid chocolate.
